MENTAL BENEFITS OF YOGA

The study performed in this experiment concluded that yoga had the ability to reduce the effects of chronic stress in women. The subjects in the study initially felt more relaxed, focused, and at ease after engaging in an hour long yoga session twice a week for about two months. It was also concluded that to retain these desired effects, the individual must continuously develop healthy exercise habits that includes the addition of yoga which provides the same effects as other stress reduction strategies.
